Miss Pre-Teen Achievement Program
Cheyenne (Browns Family)
-- Parents Brian and Tanya Brown of Cheyenne WY are proud to announce
that their daughter, Faithe-Maree Brown of Cheyenne recently competed
in the Miss Wyoming Pre-Teen Achievement Program in Casper on July 15-17,
2008. She was awarded Wyoming Miss Pre-Teen Princess and invited to compete
in Minneapolis, MN., in July, 2009 for the title of Miss Pre-Teen National
Princess.
She also won first
place in the public speaking competition, and in the talent competition.
In addition, she placed second in sportswear, and portfolio; and gained
the highest scores in academics and achievements, poise and presentation,
and personality projection. State and national candidates are judged as
follows: 30 percent academics and achievements; 30 percent interview with
the judges; 20 percent poise/presentation in gown, and 20 percent personality
projection.
The girls who compete
in the Miss Pre-Teen contests are invited to compete based on information
contained in their scholastic transcripts. Once they are invited and are
accepted to compete, they are automatically entered into the Scholarship
America/NPT Scholarship Fund.
