Current Poll - Post Your Opinion In Our Forums

1) California and Washington have joined four other states in banning the use of handheld cell phones in cars. Drivers must use hands-free devices to talk on the phone. Should Wyoming adopt similar legislation?

2) Utah has shifted state employees to a four day workweek (10 hours per day) and is closing state offices on Fridays to save energy, and help employees deal with rising gasoline costs. Should Wyoming do the same?

Last Week's Results - WyomingNetwork does NOT represent this as a scientific poll.

1) The U.S. Senate voted 83-9 to approve a foreclosure rescue plan to help an estimated 400,000 borrowers having trouble with their home loans. Wyoming Senators Mike Enzi and John Barrasso voted against the bill, saying it protects some bad lenders and people who made bad financial decisions. Supporters say it would allow borrowers to refinance and stem the flood of foreclosures. Should the measure become law?

2) The U.S. Supreme Court ruled this week that owning guns was constitutional, but said that regulating their sale and ownership, such as the Brady Bill or banning convicted felons from owning guns, was also allowed. Do you agree with the Court’s decision?
